About Our Team
Jeremy Carter (Teacher) comes to PEP from North Rowan Middle School in Rowan County, just north of Charlotte. He has a Master's degree in Special Education with a focus on students with severe to profound disabilities. In his spare time, Jeremy enjoys hiking, running, bicycling, reading, theater, and spending time with his dog, Molly Brown.

Renee Salters (Paraprofessional) is a seasoned PEP professional. She was assistant manager in the TC Roberson cafeteria before joining the PEP team. She also works at Irene Wortham Center. She is a big fan of "Law & Order" and NCIS.

Debbie Champion (Paraprofessional/Sign-Language Interpreter) has worked at PEP for 10 years. She is very artistic and is a fantastic painter and jewelry maker. She also enjoys "Doctor Who" and World of Warcraft.

Jonathan Fox (Paraprofessional) is new to PEP, but he has several years of experience working with students with disabilities. Prior to that, he served in the National Guard. In his spare time, he enjoys swimming, hiking, traveling, and spending time with friends.
