1. Business from previous meeting:

Our new plan has to be completed and accepted by October 12, 2012.

2. Meeting Agenda:

-The goal wording must be approved by the committee.

-The committee must approve the strategies for writing the school goals.

-The committee will locate and include the updated school profile form from 6/6/2012 SIT meeting.

3. The team revised language, added strategy, professional development and technology information to the proposed goals.

4. The team plans to propose the amended goals in the October 8th program staff meeting.

5. The team adjourned at 5 pm.

New goals objectives:

- Given state and local guidelines, the Progressive Education Program will develop safe schools policies and procedures to address interventions for behavioral and medical incidents, which endanger the health and safety of staff and students by June of 2013.

- With the implementation of the new Common Core Curriculum, the students of the Progressive Education Program will demonstrate growth in math literacy as measured by Individual Education Plan goals or a standard math assessment tool, by June of 2015.

- To provide 21st century technology education, the students and staff of the Progressive Education Program will develop technology skills (for implementing teacher websites, interactive presentation activities, communication, etc.) by June 2013.
